Stephen T. Maher is the president of the Practical Professor Incorporated. He is a
former law professor and practicing attorney of more than 20 years experience who also has
extensive experience teaching and designing educational programs. He has written law
review articles on a variety of legal topics, including several articles on current issues
in legal education.

Steve presently serves as the Director of Attorney Training at Shutts & Bowen, the oldest law firm in
Miami, and he designed and built the firm's site on the World Wide Web. Through the
Practical Professor Incorporated, he has designed and taught programs for lawyers from
leading companies like the Coca-Cola Company and Bell South Telecommunications, Inc. He
has also taught inhouse educational programs for prominent law firms like King &
Spalding, and Greenberg Traurig.
