The Practical Professor Incorporated trains practicing
attorneys in law firms and corporate legal departments all over the United States. We
provide training in legal skills, substantive and procedural law, and in new technologies
that are affecting lawyers and the practice of law.
The Practical Professor is a leading provider of Internet training for lawyers. We teach
lawyers to tap the rapidly expanding legal resources of the Internet and we help lawyers
understand the legal issues that are coming to the fore with the rise of this new
technology. All practicing attorneys need to understand these important developments.
The Practical Professor has worked with leading institutions, such as the University of
Pennsylvania Law School Center on Professionalism, the American Law Institute - American
Bar Association Committee on Continuing Professional Education and the District of
Columbia Bar and the George Washington University Law Center, to bring innovative Internet
training to lawyers, both inhouse at their firms and in public CLE programs. Stephen T.
Maher, the company's principal, was the Keynote Speaker on Internet Friday at Price
Waterhouse's Legal Tech Conference in September, 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Let the Practical Professor design and present your firm or organization's next program on
the Internet. Programs are available to fit your needs and your budget. Visit the
Practical Professor's Lecture Links
and see for yourself, from the online notes, just how strong a program we present.

Find Out More About Practical Professor Programs
Inhouse training delivered to your law firm or corporate legal department by
the Practical Professor has many advantages:
- Savings in participant travel, lodging and related expenses
- Savings in participant time out of the office
- The ability to work with us to custom design an educational program that meets your
needs
- The ability to involve senior attorneys in programs without the burden of requiring them
to design the program and prepare program materials
- The ability to use the latest in training technology
Lawyers often do not have time to teach themselves about the latest developments in law
and technology. New associates need training, but firms often do not have the latest
training technology and cannot afford to lose billable time doinig needed training
themselves. We can help lawyers prepare for the many challenges they encounter in today's
world.
We use the latest technology available, including the Interactive Courtroom (tm), state of
the art interactive training materials developed at the Stanford Law School Interactive
Video Project. Steve Maher has taught extensively with these interactive materials, and hw
wrote theTeacher's Notes for two of the lessons, the first two interactive legal training
CD ROM's ever released. To learn more about these impressive interactive materials, visit
the CLE Group.
