Point Loma is known as “where California began.” In this neighborhood you can spend a day sport-fishing for 20 pound tunas, hanging out at a yacht club with some of the world’s best sailors, enjoying an open-air concert with the ocean breeze blowing through your hair, learning to speak "seal" with some of the local marine life, or filling up on some of the finest cuisine the city has to offer (especially the seafood). And then you can walk off your stuffed belly by strolling to check out Sunset Cliffs, Shelter Island and the Old Lighthouse.
