Bigfoot, "the global e-mail
directory for the online community," is free to use to search for e-mail and address
and phone information, and provides a free listing if you join, which is also presently
free.
WhoWhere allows you to search for
e-mail addresses and telephone numbers and addresses at no charge.
Telephone Directories on the Web
provides "links to online telephone, fax and business directories from around the
world. Some countries only have business phone books, some only have residential
directories, and some only have fax numbers." This is an important free resource if
you want to look up a phone number in a foreign country.
Switchboard provides a free
nationwide personal directory that allows you to search for addresses and telephone
numbers, but not e-mail addresses.
Sending e-mail to elected officials is becoming a more accepted way of communicating with
them. David W. Morgan
has compiled links to e-mail addresses of U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives, and to
the Home Pages of U.S. Senators, U.S. Representatives and toother Congressional and
Political Web Pages.
